Welcome to USC AgeWorks®. We are delighted to have the opportunity to bring you a new, interactive, educational opportunity to learn more about aging. USC AgeWorks® is part of an initiative, at the University of Southern California’s Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center (the Andrus Center), to reach out to healthcare professionals to providing them with the latest research findings related to aging.

You received this CD-ROM in your February 10 issue of McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, because as a long-term care nurse, we know the important role that you play in the delivery of care to older Americans.

This CD-ROM contains three interactive, educational modules accredited for continuing education hours:

• Vision and Aging
• Hearing and Aging
• Nutrition and Aging

You will see that each of these modules is divided into subsections. We encourage you to explore all three of the modules as they contain the latest in aging research. However, if you are seeking continuing education hours, you will have the opportunity to take a test on each section of each module and receive credit for a proportional number of continuing education hours. The California Board of Registered Nurses has accredited the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology Ageworks® Division to serve as a continuing education provider.

You will also find links on this CD-ROM to information on other USC AgeWorks® products and to our undergraduate and graduate programs. You may be especially interested in finding out about our Master of Long-Term Care Administration and Master of Arts in Gerontology programs that are offered completely online.
